012 - Proficiency Watch (Part 2)

Standing proficiency watches is a dangerous game. On one hand, you have probably stood that watch more times than you can count. You remember those endless hours in the engineroom (or maneuvering, for the superior rates) as clear as day. Surely you couldn’t have forgotten that much!

Except you have. Use it or lose it as the saying goes.

Conversely, you might be one of the guys who has “qualified” that watch-station but never stands it. It’s always just a little bit funny when you see ELTs taking an ERUL logset. God help the poor bastard if he actually has to do anything with the engineroom- let’s just hope the ERS isn’t as hopeless as he is.

Anyways guys, I just got back from fighting some Kaiju and shooting some sea slugs. I hope you don’t mind if I cut this post a little bit short so I can enjoy this nice weather we’re having (while practicing appropriate social distancing, of course). Until next time!
